The Danish Mental Health Fund
Fights to ensure that all people with mental illness receive the support and treatment they are entitled to – in time. So that no one is left alone with mental illness, and everyone in the future can live meaningful and well-functioning lives. Because right now, mental illness unfortunately often destroys the lives of far too many children, young people, adults, and older people.
The Danish Mental Health Fund is the largest organization and the unifying voice for everyone with mental illness and their relatives. We put pressure on politicians and make mental illness a political priority. We ensure a strong focus on research and high-quality treatment. We create lasting social change – and our counsellors are there when people most need someone to talk to, on the phone or via our chat. All with one single goal – that mental illness must never be allowed to destroy lives.
Marianne SkjoldWe are deeply grateful for the generous gift that the collaboration with AFA Decaux represents for everyone affected by mental illness. We hope that the campaign will give this cause the visibility it so greatly needs. Eight out of ten Danes will experience a mental illness at some point – and yet it is still surrounded by taboo, and there are inhumanly long waiting times for help when you are affected. It would never have been possible for us to reach so wide an audience with this message without you – and we value that immensely. On behalf of all the people who are fighting every day – thank you!

The Danish Nature Fund
The organization works to create more nature in Denmark – for everyone. For ever. They buy, protect, and restore nature across Denmark to ensure unique nature experiences and permanent nature conservation.
The sound of bees humming from harebells to arnica. The gentle murmur of water in the forest streams. The wind rustling through the green leaves of ancient oaks. That is what Denmark used to be like. Full of rich nature with plenty of sounds, colors, and life. But rich nature has become rare. We have lost so much that thousands of species no longer have enough space to live. Denmark is among the countries in Europe with the fewest suitable habitats for wild animals and plants.
It is high time we give some of that lost nature back, and the organisation does this by securing new nature areas throughout Denmark. Here, wild animals and plants once again gain natural forests, meadows, bogs, and streams, where life can return, and where we can all experience nature’s richness, now and in the future.

Fundraiser
In 2024/2025, we supported the following organisations:

Signe van Ingen BroWe believe that our handball stars are some of the greatest sports stars out there. They deserve to be showcased, cheered on, and looked up to! That’s why our campaign has focused on visibility, power, and sheer coolness. These children also deserve to stand side by side on street corners all over the world – just like Messi, Mikkel Hansen, and all the other big stars.
Project Manager, LykkeLiga - Denmark’s happiest handball league
Claus FahrendorffWe are very excited to see what a large out-of-home campaign can do to increase awareness of our work with grief. Hopefully, it can help draw extra attention to the fact that support is available if you experience complicated grief reactions, and at the same time we hope to reduce people’s reluctance to talk about grief.
Head of Communications and Fundraising, The National Grief Center

John GlitfeldtWe are very pleased that our organization has been selected by AFA Decaux to promote our cause widely through nationwide media. We hope this can really help put Verdens Skove on the map, so that no one is in any doubt about the importance of the work we do – both for the rainforest out in the wider world and for wild forest nature locally in Denmark.
Fundraising and Campaign Coordinator, Verdens Skove (Forests of the World)
Eva Veis ThomsenWe are incredibly grateful to have the opportunity for an out-of-home campaign across all of Denmark, as our five Julemærkehjem are located throughout the country. We hope that the campaign will help highlight how important communities are in helping children who are struggling to believe in themselves again – and thereby find their self-esteem.
